Individual Sales Associate

Inside Sales is core to Oscar's expansion and focused on driving growth in each of our markets where we have individual products. We're looking for an experienced salesperson who's eager to bring Oscar to prospective individuals during Open Enrollment and the Special Enrollment Period.
You'll be tasked with a range of responsibilities, all with the goal of helping individuals find the coverage they need and enrolling new members in Oscar plans.
What is the position?
Qualify and enroll inbound leads generated by our Marketing Team.
Complete a robust sales training program and become an expert at individual insurance sales
Educate prospective members on Oscar's plans, benefits, and networks to ensure they get the appropriate coverage on or off-exchange.
Use probing questions to identify potential member's needs and suggest the appropriate plan based on their needs.
Pass your health insurance licensing exam and get credentialed to sell across markets.
Learn the ins-and-outs of the medical insurance industry, including ACA, and understand how to sell Oscar's individual product across markets.
Keep our CRM up-to-date with all sales interactions and activities.
Document feedback and objections to be shared across teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Eligibility, etc.).
Work with the team to iterate and refine sales scripts and processes, email communications, and marketing messaging.

Healthcare experience and license are pluses
Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years of sales experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
