Broker Support Associate

Hi, we're Oscar.
We are changing how health insurance works. Our goal is to make health insurance simple, transparent and human -- for our members and for the employers and brokers who help them get covered by Oscar.
Broker Support works closely with our Regional Sales team to support Oscar's broker channel as well as business administrators. Client Success Associates will answer inbound calls and emails to Oscar to resolve issues and answer questions quickly and professionally. Our goal is to make Oscar the easiest carrier for employers and brokers to work with.
What is the position?
Handle inbound calls and emails from some of Oscar's most important business partners (General agents, brokers, and business administrators) to resolve issues as quickly and accurately.
Gain a deep understanding of Oscar's plans, benefits, and networks and the ability to educate others on our products across markets.
Learn our internal processes and systems and identify opportunities to make the team more efficient and effective.
Collaborate with Oscar's Eligibility, Billing, and Member Services teams to resolve complex issues.
Be a brand ambassador and embrace our vision for industry leading service.

Advanced computer literacy skills.
Strong analytical decision making and organizational skills.
Healthcare experience and license are pluses.
Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years of support/service experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
