Operations Implementation Project Manager

By 2020, not only will Oscar operate in at least nine states, but we will also be offering Medicare Advantage ("MA") products. Oscar's move into the MA space will require that we meet the standards set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ("CMS"). The Operations Implementation Project Manager, will lead the analysis of the gaps between current state Concierge operations and future state needs to be in compliance with CMS standards. The role will be responsible for leading the planning and successful implementation of Concierge based MA programs.
In your first six weeks, you will:
Familiarize yourself with Oscar's departments and functions, identifying current operational processes that can be leveraged for MA and gaps in performance against CMS standards
Develop a work plan to address gaps and implement required Concierge programs by full implementation of MA - ideally as of November 1, 2020
By the end of month 3, you will:
Beginning with the highest-risk areas, begin implementing this work plan across all of Concierge's departments and functions
Identify and quantify additional resources that Concierge will need to deploy or acquire to ensure successful implementation of MA workplan
Ensure teams meet their roadmap milestones & facilitate support where and when needed
Orchestrate the leadership team and cross-team reporting
Afterwards and on an ongoing basis, you will:
Ensure that Concierge has fully implemented and tested, as of July 31, 2019 and afterward, required CMS standards for MA go-live
You will be responsible for ongoing measuring and delivering on critical metrics on MA

We are looking for someone with project management expertise and a strong background of successful implementation of operational initiatives.
Must-have qualifications and expertise include:
Strong Project Management experience
College degree - BA or MA
Highly systematic thinking as shown demonstrated by prior work or experience (lean operations, consulting, MBA, project management, etc).
Strong ability to influence others even without direct authority.
3+ years' experience
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in implementing a complex programs

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
